Represented a NEW. Used Fisher Scientific Isotemp Muffle Furnace Model 184 Made in USA. The Furnace has really never been used, except to heat up just to test. The Furnace is being sold as used because I do not have any of the original packing, box, paper work, etc. The Furnace hardly has a mark on it, and what is there is from moving around in storage. Very HARD to tell if this has ever been used or not. It is from Government Surplus. The Furnace was represented as new, and looks it. However, there are the slightest signs that heat has been applied to the inside. It does power on and heat, but no other testing was done. I am far from an expert on this item so please ask questions and I will try to find answers. About the only way to beat this one is to buy one still in its factory packaging... Selling as is. The inside dimensions of the heating chamber is 9-3/4 inches front to back, 5-3/4 inches wide, and 4-1/4 inches top to bottom. The Furnace is 16-3/4 inches front to back, 14-1/8 inches wide, and 19-1/4 inches top to bottom. The Furnace is rate: 120 Volts, 14.5 Amps, and is a Certified Laboratory Instrument. I just sold a Fisher Model 182 and the only difference I could see is this one is rated at 14.5 amps and the 182 was rated at 12.0 amps. Shipping will include Insurance & tracking.
