On sale here is a FISHER TRINOCULAR LAB. MICROSCOPE with POLARIZATION. It is in excellent cosmetic,mechanical and optical condition.Both coarse and fine focusing are excellent.The tension of the focusing gear is variable.The unit comes with the following four SP brand new objectives:4x,10x,40x and 100x oil. The trinocular head and the two Hi-Eye eyepieces are new as well. Both eyepieces are focusable.The halogen illumination is adequate at all magnifications. The condenser can move vertically and is also centerable. Of course,it does have a diaphragm.The microscope is equipped with POLARIZATION: one POLARIZER plus one ANALYZER . THE POLARIZED IMAGES ARE BREATHTAKING!! Things that are usually invisible,become distinct,clear and in vivid colors.It is a pity that I do not have a high resolution camera that can do them justice. The third port of the head is mostly for the use with a camera.A sliding prism directs the image to the binocular or to the third port.
