Made from all steel construction w/ a non-loading PTFE (Teflon) coat. Low static pressure. Grease Filter Type - Standard fixed filter. Meets #96 N.F.P.A. requirements for cooking w/ solid fuel. The 3/8" x 1/2" Spark Arrestor screen meets requirement #211 of N.F.P.A. for solid fuel burning appliances. 94% efficient at grease extraction. s should always run up and down (Vertical) while installing Grease Filter to allow the grease to run down the s to the grease trough and then to the collection cup. Measurements listed above are Height x Width x Thickness. U.L.C. Listed. PTFE Coated s help the extraction of grease much more effectively. In the same manner that grease rolls off a PTFE coated pan, it rolls down the s, out of the filter and into the hood's remote collection cup. Because Flame Gard's filters retain only insignificant amounts of surface grease and do not load, you will have a consistency of air flow throughout your operating day.
