Genuine U.S. Military Issue Surplus Flanged Strainer Housing or (?) with Bronze Sil-Braze Unions We have no idea what this item is or what it is made for. The only markings on the item it... INLET OUTLET There is a elbow shaped connector inside the housing that is connected to the outlet port. (See Pictures) The two bronze unions are... 3/8" Flagg FF-A 400 WOG The overall size of the item is 10 3/4" x 7 5/8" x 5 9/16" The housing is 10 3/8" deep x 3" Inner Diameter The flange is 5 1/2" Outer Diameter The four mounting holes in the metal bracket are approximately 1/8" x 7/16" Inner Diameter The six mounting holes in the flange are 9/16" x 3/8" Inner Diameter We are not sure what type of metal this item is made from. We do not think it is bronze or copper. It might be cupronickel. But that is just a guess. There is a very slight magnetic pull. The two sil-braze unions are made of bronze. Weight: 14 LBS.
