Flexmastic Caulk and Patch Sealant - 1 Count is a high-quality modified elastomeric brush/roller grade mastic formulated to provide incredible weather resistance, flexibility and ease of application. Once dry, it forms a tough elastic water-resistant sealer that can withstand a wide range of weather conditions. If you need a fibered form, look no further than 7518 F. This sealant and caulking product is perfect for weatherproofing seams, joints, and cracks. It can also be used for repairing roofs, flashings, vents, copings, drainpipes, eaves, skylights, and parapet walls. Additionally, it is excellent for cementing down loose shingle tabs, embedding glass, lubricating, and sealing pipe threads. It's essential to note that prolonged exposure to ponded water and direct sunlight will discolor 7518. To achieve the best results, utilize glass cloth re-enforcing mesh for trowel applications or in moving joints over 1/4" in width. This product is not suitable for use in contact with polystyrene insulation. The physical properties of Flexmastic Caulk and Patch Sealant - 1 Count include a black color, a density of 1.25 kg per liter or 10.4lb. per U.S. gallon, and an approximate coverage of 6mm (1/4") thickness - 68 kg per 10 square meters (140 lbs per 100 square feet), 3mm (1/8") thickness - 34 kg per 10 square meters (70 lbs per 100 square feet). It dries to touch in about 4 hours and firms up in 48 hours. This product has a service temperature upper limit of 820C or 1800F, and a shelf life of up to 24 months. Before using Flexmastic Caulk and Patch Sealant - 1 Count, make sure your work surfaces are sound, dry, clean, and free from rust, loose paint, dust, dirt, and grease. It's an excellent solution for all your caulking and patch sealing needs.
