FLIR B40 Lightweight Infrared Thermal Imaging Camera Offered is a FLIR B40 Thermal Imaging Camera in great condition that was used in an insulation business for about 3 years. This handheld unit translates temperature details into an easy-to-understand color image. Everything works perfectly and all accessories are included with it. All images are recorded for future use onto an included memory card, and the camera & all accessories fit neatly into a foam-lined Pelican hardcase. AND ... a thermal camera gives you a totally different view of the world around you. Hot or cold spots in walls are easily spotted as are hot connections in an electrical box .... Do the seals on your refrigerator leak? Are the brakes on your car getting too hot? Is there heat escaping through your windows or roof? Is your stove heating evenly? Is any of your house's wiring getting hotter than normal? Do you have mold growing anywhere? I used this recently used it to find a previously impossible-to-find roof leak, as the water was easily spotted travelling along some rafters. I have even included a thermal photo of my outdoor heat pump. This FLIR B40 unit even has a built in digital camera that when paired with the thermal, will give you a picture-in-picture (thermal image inside a digital image); it also gives spot temperature readings, & and let's you review all data right at your camera. The applications are limitless, and the imaging works the same either the day or night. Not being dependent on the available light, but rather heat; so it can also be used for night vision unit as well. I have included several thermal images that I took here at my house, to show just what the capabilities are. The side by side photos were produced by me to show the ‘regular ‘ and ‘thermal’ photos next to each other. The smaller thermal photos inside the larger digital ones (‘picture-in-picture’), is done inside the camera itself as one of the features that the FLIR B40 offers.
