The grinder is in great condition. A little cleaning and it would look brand new.. it definitely looks brand new... I bought it from a friend 4 years ago who bought it brand new and only used it on one job before selling it to me. The only difference between this Grinder and a brand new one is this is half the price and has a little dust on it. If your an epoxy flooring guy you should know that one floor could easily pay for this grinder... and some. Alottt of rental companies buy national because they are built tough and last forever. National 5274-W Floor Preparation System - Grinder The 5274 is designed for those small jobs and hard to reach spaces, combining easy to operate functionality with the benefits of low maintenance. Built rental-tough, the 5274 quickly separates for easy mobility and conveniently fits in the trunk of any car. This machine dependably operates in various profiling and removal applications, utilizing its 16 inch grinding plate. The Deluxe Grind-n-Scrape magnetic tooling plate runs both a direct drive operation and an optional passive satellite system. The passive planetary action provides a random scratch pattern and reduces swirl marks in the surface of the concrete. This grinder is capable of sanding wood floor finishes and exterior decks sealers. The 1.5 HP motor runs at less than 15 amps through a 115 V power source, under full load. We set the standard in industry safety, the built-in disconnecting power cord guarantees the machine will always be off while changing out the tooling. The grinder head rotates 180 degrees granting easy access to the quick change magnetic tooling and provides convenient change out for multiple applications. The floating deck enables the magnetic tooling plate to contour against the surface. This provides a uniform scratch pattern for coating applications or polishing concrete with surface undulations. The adjustable Hook & Loop/Touch Tape dust guard lets the machine operate within 1/8 of an inch of the wall and promotes a dustless operation.
