Does your Fluke 43 or 43B Power Quality Analyzer have buttons that will not respond? Most likely the problem is with the keypad contact foil below the keypad membrane. The polyimide-carbon films are prone to failure over time due to the flexing action caused every time a button is pressed. Ready for drop-in replacement, these original Fluke contact foils are simple to replace. No special tooling or knowledge is required. The replacement can be completed in 10 minutes or less using just a Torx T10 screwdriver. Most users will have already disassembled their Analyzer to have discovered the defective keypad foil in the first place. Some symptoms of a defective keypad foil are: Non-functioning buttons Instrument will not power on* Erratic behavior *If your instrument will not turn on, there could be a more serious problem. You are welcome to contact us for assistance to determine if the keypad foil is at fault or if the problem lies deeper. Warranty: 1 year full, 2 additional years pro-rated.
