I used this signal generator in my avionics business to check automatic direction finders. It has very low use and works great. There are no scratches or dents on the case. It has several options as listed on the back panel in the photos. From the photos it appears there is some rippling in the plastic over the display but that is a reflection from the ceiling. I turned the generator upright so I could photo the test equipment with it. I fully checked it out on our spectrum analyzer and modulation analyzer and everything works. I checked rf out, am and fm modulation on several ranges as shown in the photos. The modulation analyzer was rack mounted and I could not get the generator close enough to photograph them together.The counter shows a frequency difference of less than 1/2 hertz at one megahertz. Am modulation was set at 30% and the modulation analyzer shows 30.93%. FM modulation was set to 1khz and the analyzer showed 1.09khz. The analyzer shows an output of .97 milliwatts when the unit was set to 1mw but there was about a 10 foot rg58 cable between them which means the output was about right. Note on the spectrum analyzer displays it shows the output slightly higher than 1mw. I ran the unit about three hours doing all the tests and all switches performed as they should with no signs of sticking. The display is bright and clear. It has the following options: REVERSE POWER PROTECTION, SUB HARMONIC REFERENCE AND LOW RATE FM. I am sure you will be pleased with this generator.
