The multimeter has a built-in thermometer that lets you carry one less tool (TC probe included) and a frequency range up to 200 kHz, along with a % duty cycle. Resistance, continuity, and diode tests are available, and the 87V has a 10,000 ВµF capacitance range for components and motor caps. Min/Max-Average recording with Min/Max Alert helps capture variations automatically.
