Units have always been inside the covers. LCD on the scanner is in good shape with normal usage. These were used in a school training program and therefore have the #91 written on the side (Bag and Cover). There is no writing on the units. Testing Performed: Power up (both units). All buttons function properly. Power adapters work. I am not an expert on these units, but did play around with it and everything seems to work well.
