Forney 45300 Super 99-Percent Nickel Cast Specialty Rod, 3/32-Inch, 1/2-Pound Item Description All position high nickel content electrode with an extruded coating for welding cast iron or joining cast iron to dissimilar metals Works well with thin sections and welds that require the highest possible machinability after welding Typical applications include automotive engine blocks, transmission and pump housings BHN 155 hardness Joins gray cast iron to other gray cast irons or other ferrous or non-ferrous metals SPECIFICATIONS The Forney 45300 Super Ni-Cast 99-percent nickel special welding electrodes feature a non-conductive coating that is ideally suited for welding all grades of gray cast iron particularly thin sections and welds requiring the highest possible machinability.
