Amamco Custom Compression Router Bit Solid Tungsten Carbide Lot of 4 - only about 1/4" of cutting surface has been gently used. This tool was developed by Amamco in alliance with NCDMM for machining the Lockhead Martin F35 Joint Strike Fighter CFRP wing skins. They were using PCD bits and the CFRP was so abrasive they were only getting 9 linear feet at 1/3 of material thickness per tool. Moreover the PCD tool was contributing to the delamination of the CFRP skins. With the Amamco Compression Router Bit they are getting 57 linear feet at full material penetration with no delamination.
