Manufactured probably in the 30's or 40's, these bronze (or brass), glass and (probably) maple or other blond wood, are spectacularly well-built, and have been a powerful "selling tool" in my store for decades. I have them arranged in a circular manner, and for quick and easy entrance to the center I've installed wheels underneath one unit -- it just pulls out and I step into the center. All the sliding doors on the back of the showcases function nicely and as you can see they let light through but not the eye. Each of the four units measures 49 inches side to side at the widest point and they're 25 1/2 inches deep (front to back) -- providing plenty of display space on the inside base, the two glass shelves, and the glass top. These four display levels are respectively 18, 26, 35 and 40 inches above the floor. If arranged circularly as I have them, the diameter of the circle is 73 inches. Each case has two long lamps built in and they are hooded by bronze or brass shields; most of the bulbs are working but a couple might need replacing. Black velvet has been installed on the bottom display surfaces. The four units can be stationed individually, or in a row, or in pairs, or in a circle as I have them. They're ideal for housing merchandise or a special collection of precious objects. These cabinets are available for transport during the last two weeks of January, 2015, and not before then. Buyer to provide trucking services and pay all freight charges. There's easy access to the building through large double-doors, located only a few feet from the cabinets.
