After 15 years of these tools sitting in my garage or my shop un-touched and my not getting younger nor have I taken the steps I had hoped to in learning how to use all of these tools, I am finally going to let them go.  I very much appreciate your looking at this advertisement and ask if you are seriously interested, please send genuine questions you may have. Please do not ask me to separate the tools in this auction out as I want to sell as one lot of similar tooling together.   I will do my best to answer any questions sincerely and in the best timely means I can but I do have a weekday job that keeps me on the go. Shipping and packaging are the buyers responsibility. Please be advised ebay shipping prices are guidelines, not guaranteed rates and I have found them to be in error  ( I think for a fact they are on this listing when I see similar items with higher freight prices) frequently with respect to fed-Ex rates.   Should you buy more than one of my classes of parts, I will do my best to ship items together to save buyer on shipping fees.  Should you wish to pick-up tools locally, I will do my best to accommodate you within what my work schedule allows.  I am selling many more of my fathers machinist tools in various other auctions as well as I them for sale locally. I will be listing items weekly so please do set me as a favorite seller so you can keep track of my various updated new listings. A taste of what I will have for sale can be seen at: http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/dunefrk/library/Dads%20Machinest%20Tools?sort=3&page=1 As items in my various listings sell for classes of similar items, I will amend my on large auction selling the bulk of the tools to keep it accurate and contemporary. There are many tools which are brand new and in un-opened containers. There is easily 300+ cutting tools (square like for tips for a lathe tool holder); many new and many more used which are off-the-shelf and many custom cutting tools also.  There are 300 to 400 round cutting tools (new and used both) which could be for a mill or lathe (sorry I am not versed enough to know the difference) but you can draw you conclusions from the pictures. There are drawers pictured of micrometers.  There are some empty boxes for the micrometers and calipers (pictured atop the toolbox). There are inside bore gauge kits which are new.  There is a depth gauge kits which is new and several used kits of gauges which are used. There are three new boxes of pin gauges  ranging from 0.011” to 0.500” in 0.001” increments, minus tolerance. There are several new shim or height standards (not sure what they are called but these are brand new. There is this large heavy duty 36” by 60” (I will need to double check this dim) Kennedy rolling toolbox with two smaller red toolboxes mounted to this Kennedy toolbox.  When my father retired and he wanted to pick-up his tools from work brought my 10k car trailer and he had to use a ceiling crane with many chains to lift this toolbox which weighed in excess of 6000 lbs…I knew I was pulling the trailer/toolbox! There are height gauges and stands, a 12 x 18” granite surface plate, new height index, multiple dial indicators, roughing calipers, feeler gauge things,   There are several drawers of bolts, square nuts, and fixture holders which you will see that are all heavy duty high tensile steel. There is a rotary indexer of some type.  There is a linear stage of some type pictured in a wooden box. There is a 110 Vac powered tool sharpener (not pictured) and an unpowered end mill sharpener tool (pictured).
