This listing is for a VINTAGE IN ORIGINAL CASE, FOWLER MICROMETER SET. Numbers on the Micrometer are 6-7" 0001". This is a 3 Piece Micrometer Set in the original Wooden Case. The Case is fairly scuffed & dinged; "60" is written in Black Felt Pen on the front of the case; the hinges & front latch closures are good. The inside is Light Blue Foam Padding, indented with the impressions of the Micrometer; the upper Light Blue Foam Padding is quite dirty on one side. The Micrometer is a Metallic Blue, clean except for a bit of "lube" & what looks to be an oil or grease spot on the Tool. The front of the Micrometer reads: 6-7' 0001" FOWLER JAPAN. The numbers on the top "screw" area of the Micrometer are 0, 5, 10, 15, 20. The Micrometer is 11" long at the top, 8" long near the curve & 1/2" thick. 2 additional pieces come fitted in the set & are still sealed in plastic. The piece directly above the Micrometer has 6" written on it & is 6" long; the other piece looks like a small "wrench" & is 2 3/4" long. The Wooden Case is 12 3/4" x 7" x 1". The original label is on the side & reads: FOWLER MICROMETER RANGE CRADU 52-240-007 6-7" .0001". Excellent Collectable that is also useful!
