The illuminating band attaches easily around your fire helmet and provides up to 17 hours of illumination when fully charged allowing clear visibility in zero light environments without the need or reliance on external battery operated lights or devices. The Foxfire Helmet band along with other Foxfire products such as the equipment bands and/or grip tape helps to increase visibility by improving positional orientation and by providing visual awareness and accountability by reducing disorientation. The word “foxfire” conveys the bioluminescence (greenish glow) created in the right conditions by specific species of fungi that decay wood.
