UV forensic light source with the two most popular UV wavelengths Dual wavelength UV LED forensic light source for searches up to 8 ft (2.6 m) away. This FLS uses the two most popular UV light wavelengths (380nm and 395nm) and provides two peak intensities. A diffuser lens provides a smooth, shadow-free light distribution. It is configured with 3 modes (380nm & 395nm concurrent, 380nm only and 395nm only) so that the user can better visualize evidence and document findings. This ultraviolet alternate light source is accurate to ± 3nm, has a square anti-roll head and can be used underwater. It runs on either two CR123 lithium batteries or one rechargeable 18650 battery. Use with orange or yellow goggles. Evidence identified: Serological / body fluids (including urine and semen), accelerants (oil, gas, turpentine), bite marks, bruising and trace evidence (hairs and fibers) Used for: Field crime scene search, laboratory, medicolegal (including SANE, coroners and medical examiners) and hotel room inspection KEY SPECS Wavelength: 380 and 395nm Battery Life: 3-4 hours Battery Type: 2x CR123 or 1x 18650 battery
