The high viscosity of this paste ensures that it bonds to most any surface with "no-sag" properties and good chemical resistance. Freeman Hi-Temp TUF-Fil, with its fast-setting feature, can be sanded in just 15 minutes as it closely matches mahogany and other hardwoods in hardness. When fully cured, TUF-Fil may be scraped, filed, tapped and sanded. While it is still rubbery, it can be carved using woodworking tools. It also exhibits low shrinkage properties and is available in gray color.
