I will add extra hatching eggs to the order if available. The roosters on the most part are very easy going. The hens are very sweet, and easy to handle. I fell in love with the breed after seeing the amazing colors in the roosters, the sweet disposition of the hens, and collecting the dark chocolate eggs. Every day I look at these chocolate colored eggs and think of dark chocolate confections in my candy dish. The color of the eggs are just amazing. My girls are very giving when trying to retrieve the hatching eggs. French Black Copper Marans are active, good foragers, but also handle confinement well. In 2010, the Black Copper Marans was accepted into the American Poultry Association’s Standard of Perfection.
