The unit is used but in very good working condition. It is shown powered "ON". This unit is designed to check the function of linear and automatic gain control hearing aids. It can be used to check earmold acoustics, and it also has the ability to check the hearing aid battery drain. The 2 cc coupler in the sound chamber may also be used to calibrate other microphones. It was used mainly for research and development applications. It is being sold with the manufacturer's easy to follow operating manual with excellent practical examples. The sound chamber is self-contained and measures 12 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 18 inches high. The case has a latch for secure closing. 2cc Coupler is included as well as all power cords. The system is recently calibrated. The sound chamber model is FC5010. It has slight discoloration on the top padding which will not effect performance. The two units are designed to be used as a system. The sound chamber is a hard to find item. Together the two units will provide highly accurate results, much more so than using the 5500Z alone.
