Fine Science Tools / Simon Keller Steriguard 350 Dry Glass Bead Sterilizer, Excellent Condition, with 11 oz. of New Glass Beads Seller's Description: Offered is a clean, tested Steri 350 dry glass bead sterilizer in excellent condition, useful for sterilizing small instruments in a variety of settings (nail salons, veterinary or animal sciences, dental offices, tatoo parlors, etc.). Dry glass beads are heated in the unit to 250°C. Inserting of clean instruments into the glass bead bed completes the sterilization process, destroying all microorganisms, including spores in less than 10 seconds. This is a small, compact unit with a well size of 1.75" diameter by 5.5" deep. It is thus suitable for medium and longer sized instruments (scissors, tweezers, forceps, knifes, blades, spatulas, etc.). This unit is very clean and in excellent condition (no scratches/wear - it is very shiny all around). It is of Swiss made quality with low electrical demand and should provide a long service life. The Steri units feature a stainless steel container, high-performance heating element, reduced heating time, high-precision thermostat, temperature limiter and built-in thermometer. Note, the unit clearly states it is not to be used in human surgical procedures. The unit includes 11 oz. of new 2 mm glass beads (also available from me as a resupply item in 11 oz. bags, Item 271688863819) and has been function tested to operate properly, achieving a temperature near 250 Celsius (see picture).
