Fujikura FSM-16S Fusion Splicer Kit Features Automatic core to core, low-loss splicing regardless of fiber quality or age 9 second splicing time 35 second heat time Wind protector design withstands 30 mph cross wind User selectable monitor position Excellent visibility in bright sunlight with 5.6" TFT Color LCD display Multiple pre-programmed modes for specialized splicing The technology embodied in the FSM-16S provides unprecedented utility in harsh outdoor splicing environments. Altitude/pressure compensation is provided to ensure proper arc conditions in extreme environments. In addition, the wind protector ensures a stable arc in cross winds in excess of 30 mph. The 5 color anti-reflective LCD monitor provides excellent visibility during splicing operations. With the small size, light weight and additional docking-bay for power modules, the FSM-16S is reliable for use in a variety of field scenarios.
