Chamber size is 4 inches wide x 3 3/4 inches high x 4 1/2 inches deep. Maximum operating temperature is 1038°C. Theese compact, portable, "plug-in" furnaces are designed for use in general laboratory applications, heat treating, and process control. They reach normal operating temperature of 870°C in about 40 minutes and have good reserve power to recover rapidly from large loads. An accurate built-in, digital control unit balances heat losses against power input to permit selecting and maintaining of any desired furnace temperature from 200°C to maximum within close limits. The furnaces are housed in a welded steel case finished in 2-tone baked enamel finish, with efficient insulation. The nickel-chromium heating elements are embedded in a special refractory cement for longevity in use and are simple to service. A unique door latching mechanism permits easy access to chamber, and when open, provides a convenient loading shelf. Door safety switch removes power from the heating elements when the door is opened. Overall dimensions are 8 inches wide; 12 1/2 inches high; 8 1/2 inches deep. Supplied with Chromel/Alumel thermocouple, pilot light, On-Off switch, and 3-wire cord and plug. For operation on 50/60Hz, AC single phase, 1050 watts. UL listed.
