Please look at the photos. The unit powers-up bright & clear. I ran the self-test sequence by holding down the shift while I powered-on the unit and it passed. I connected the unit to an oscilloscope (not included) with a coaxial cable (also not included) and generated a few different wave forms, see the pictures. This is the only testing that has been performed. I do not have the equipment or training to formally test this item so it is being sold as is.
