This is a fully tested BTI Microspec gamma spectroscopy MCA system, see pictures for measured spectra (spectra are from 60Co and 137Cs calibration samples). Package contains: - Microspec II controlled by the Atari Portfolio system; - BeeCard (1Mb) containing the OS System and the software that drives the system; -  BTI G-probe S/N 95008 (the probe presents some small scuffs but they don't affect the performance at all). This probe can be easily updated using a 10 pin PMT (it fits the same socket as Canberra 2007 and 2007p) + crystal of any size NaI(Tl); - interconnecting cable - Pelican case for rugged condition transportation and measurement; - charger EU plug; - Operating manual + some servicing tips There are a lot of unique features for this instrument (i.e. calculation of true dose from spectrum). This is a truly portable system ready to go. Uses 3 C size batteries. For those interested in the B (beta) spectroscopy probe please ask. THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN RECENTLY ENERGY CALIBRATED AND IS READY TO WORK WITHOUT CONCERNS ABOUT CALIBRATING IT The system is well known to the pro and amateur community and can be easily serviced and restored to it's factory conditions using the software backed up on various places on the web. various links contain detailed documentation concerning this item (try searching google BTI Microscpec II manual).
