Gamma Scout w/alert. Selling for a friend. Has been well cared for and only lightly used. Has software disc, manual, box, calibration certificate, and original receipt. This unit supports a wide range of data collection and logging functions. The unit is now 6 years old but the battery is still showing good voltage left. (This is powered by an onboard lithium cell. It can be replaced by the user if you are handy with a soldering iron, otherwise they usually recommend sending to a dealer for replacement. The reasoning for the onboard power was to prevent loss of stored data over long periods. Like I said, the unit has only been lightly used so you should be able to operate it for sometime before you will need to service the battery....and anyone with basic electronic soldering experience can do it--or convert it to a conventional clip in arrangement if you wish.) This is a nice little counter, with carrying case, that is light weight and small enough to travel with you. The selector gate allows screening out to measure alpha/beta/gamma, just beta and gamma, or gamma only. Can display in cpm, Bq, Sieverts, mR and creates a data log file that will download to your computer with the included cable and software.  Starting bid less than half of the new cost! Will ship priority mail in a well padded medium flat rate box. Payment required within four days of auction close and I usually ship within two business days of receiving funds.
