Garlock PK Rotary Oil Seal Kit 70358-0025 & Stokes 085-018-189 This is a used Garlock Mechanipak PK Rotary Oil Seal Kit 70358-0025 using Brass, Viton and Ceramic face seal for 1 7/8" Shafts. They have been used with the Stokes Microvac Mechanical Vacuum Pumps. The Stokes Part Number is 085-018-189. I have a new ceramic seal face for this which I am adding. I've priced it for only the new ceramic seal in case you only need this although the whole seal should still be viable for use.     The seal works by trapping a thin film of fluid on the faces.  This micro-amount of fluid lubricates the rotary face against the static face thus creating a seal.
