This Gas manometer is in good condition except for a worn out box hinge that is cracked. It is for checking and setting low pressure gas regulators. The range of pressure is 0 to 35 inches of water column or 0 to 20 ounces per square inch or 0 to 8.6 Kilopascals. It is used and comes in a plastic box as seen in photos. This gauge is indispensable if one has a recreation vehicle with gas appliances, especially for setting pressure on a gas refrigerator. It was made by Fisher Governor Co. ,Marshalltown, IA. The gauge is 2 1/2" diameter with a 3' hose and cup that fits over a gas burner jet. If you have an RV then here is why you need a gas pressure manometer. A gas refrigerator is designed to operate on the pressure of 11" water column. Propane regulators have a spring that regulates to 11" when set properly. That spring tends to relax over time and the pressure drops. To set the pressure at the proper setting, one needs a manometer. The RV furnace also requires proper pressure of 11",but not as important as the Fridg. This manometer comes with a cup that slips over a gas jet on the stove for easy reading , once the burner is removed.
