GAST model: 4LCB 1/2 hp HP Piston Air Compressor/Vacuum Pump, 115/230V AC (currently wired for 115, standard cord), 50 Max. PSI if used for pressure. Twin cylinders with Stainless Steel Valves. These are pretty much the industry standard for vacuum forming, composite layups, wood clamping and veneer work etc. These pull high vacuum very quickly; see below for CFM Max. Vacuum 27.5 in Hg Tankless / has inlet filters, safety valve, pressure switch, check valve tubing and fittings. Permanently lubricated components and stainless steel valves provide long life and maximum performance. Pump cylinders are corrosion-resistant for harsh environments. NOTE: See photos, this unit also has a nice additional mound that can be welded etc., for your project. Photos are a large part of the description. View them all to see the cosmetic scratches. Data plate is included in one of the photos. Removed from a working environment and fully tested to pull full rated vacuum; adjusted for my current altitude. Very good working condition. It has a pressure regulator already installed because this unit was installed for Dry Sprinkler Systems. Large company's do this so if a water/sprinkler line leaked or broke, the building is not destroyed. Yet if a real fire were to break-out, the sprinklers go off as normal. Anyways, most often these are used as vacuum pumps, they are designed for that. You do not need to remove the pressure regulator for this. Just put the existing air filters on the other side of the head and install your standard 1/4" fittings into the vacuum side. Simple as that. Max.
