Bought for use as air brush compressor motors. Perfect for air brush work with 30 psi and smooth quiet operation. These are "mint" or "near mint" with very little time in service. They had been ordered originally as vacuum pumps for lab equipment then not used as the original GAST motors outlasted the machinery. The two on sale here were tested then put away as backup items. The 2015 "MAA" pumps are close to this "SAA" model. Dual action, highest quality. The setup in the pics shows the original vacuum pump arrangement. Reverse the top two fittings and you've got a compressor motor to fill an air brush reservoir. Removing moisture is done at the reservoir intake. The Iwata pumps that came with the reservoirs we use maxxed at 1 AMP 1/16th HP -- these upgrade with 2 AMPs and industrial grade components. We bought four literally off-the-shelf like-new to replace Iwata pump motors. Keeping two. Twice the power, easier to keep clean with an up-grade air filter (N-100 not included.) The two we're keeping are going to last forever. Duty cycle is down under 10%. GAST has a repair kit for approximately $50. That's for diaphragm and gaskets. The closest models in 2015 sell from $490 to $850 selling B2B. All in, this looks to match up at $600 with capacitor, power plug, two fittings, no gauge. That's without a reservoir. I recommend upgrading to a N-100 filter and replacing the filters based on use. No international shipping. If Alaska or Hawaii then it will have to be with your shipping label from UPS. I reprint the label and the item becomes yours when I hand it over to UPS Customer Service at their center in northern New Jersey. That arrangement needs to go through eBay as a custom auction.
