While I've never had a laminator before, this one has been great. We've used it to laminate small cards and big 11x17 signs and it works great. Few minute warm-up time but not too horrible a smell. Used with Office Depot pouches and works great! Might be on the pricey-er end but we got a higher end one hoping it would be more reliable and better quality. So far so good!
