The GE Druck DPI 620 Genii Series of Advanced Modular Calibrator and HART /Fieldbus Communicator comprises four system components to provide the multi-functionality to perform duties formerly requiring a wide range of different instruments. These system components are: DPI 620G: A Multi-function calibrator, HART/Fieldbus Communicator. PM 620: Interchangeable pressure modules. MC 620G: Pressure module carrier. PV 62XG: Pressure generating stations. The GE Druck DPI620-G platform is modular in concept, allowing a variety of hardware and software options to be configured to suit a multitude of different applications for the test, calibration and maintenance of pressure, electrical, frequency and temperature instrumentation. The basic component of this system is the GE Druck DPI 620 Genii multifunction Advanced Modular calibrator, a next-generation, ultra-compact, electrical, frequency, and temperature calibrator, which provides simultaneous measurement and source capabilities. Pressure measurement is provided by interchangeable pressure modules that can be attached to the calibrator by a pressure module carrier. Inside of the GE Druck DPI620/G is a fully functional HART field communicator, replacing the need for a stand-alone HART communication unit. A Foundation Fieldbus communicator is also available as an option. If pressure generation is required, the Druck DPI-620G calibrator and pressure module can be attached to one of three pressure generation stations, to form a high performance, full-integrated pressure calibrator. The GE Druck DPI 620 Genii multifunction calibrators can measure and source mA, mV, V, Ohms, frequency, and a variety of RTDs and T/Cs. The GE Druck DPI 620G Genii multifunction calibrators provide an isolated 24V loop power supply to energize devices and control loops and a stabilized DC voltage supply for ratio metric transducers. A HART digital configurator is provided for set-up and calibration adjustments of HART devices. As the next generation model, the GE Druck DPI 620 Genii incorporates an advanced touch screen and new user interface for a flatter menu structure and greater ease-of-use. A completely new digital platform supports HART and Fieldbus applications. The intuitive dashboard allows for quickly launching applications. The compact and lightweight GE Druck DPI 620 Genii multifunction calibrator is designed for rugged field applications, with a robust casing and weather-proofing to IP 65. The GE Druck DPI 620 Genii, by virtue of modularity, brings together 3 product lines into a single product platform. The GE Druck DPI620G exceeds the performance and features of the DPI 605, 610, 615, DPI 620, TRX II and MCX II product lines and most of the competition for pressure calibrators, multifunctional calibrators and field communicators. Moreover and unlike the other product lines, including most of those of our competitors, the GE Druck DPI 620G can do all this from a single product platform that is adaptable by application and expandable in the future: e.g., no need to carry a calibrator and a communicator to trim HART / Fieldbus devices.
