The GE Logiq 7 ultrasound system is one of the best selling models for general imaging. It has been an excellent machine in my hands. I paid $23,000 for it when I purchased it in 2007 from a reputable human medical distributor. It was made in 2004. I use it as an everyday workhorse in the hospital and I completed the in depth ISELP ultrasound certification with this machine. It has performed well and the only reason I am selling it is the accountant says its time to buy a new piece of equipment. It is a multipurpose ultrasound system acclaimed for its versatility and reliability, as well as its advanced technologies that put it at the upper level of GE’s Logiq line of ultrasound machines. You can read all about the GE Logiq 7 anywhere, so I won't go through the tedious specifications other than the footprint: H: 57-63” W: 24” D: 39” This is a solid machine, see pictures. It ships on a custom pallet. This system can be used for a wide variety of ultrasound applications. The system supports a full range of clinical applications including, abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, pediatric, vascular and cardiac diagnostic testing and of course Veterinary applications. The doppler works very well. I think for the money and the technology that comes with this machine, it is a great buy! A friend has the L5 and that machine is certainly a generation behind in technology. Ive also used the 9 and I did not see a difference between the 7 and 9 that made a difference in my everyday imaging. It has an adjustable high-resolution CRT display monitor and a color LCD touch screen interface along with four (4) active probe ports and this machine comes with the following 3 probes: E8C, 3.5C, 10L As with any used piece of equipment, there is some wear and tear. The 3.5C came to me with a small wear line/crack in the middle of the cord casing of the 3.5C. I put a small piece of gorilla tape on it when I got it and that same gorilla tape is still there, visible in one of the pics. There have been no issues with the functionality of this probe. The 10L has a small piece missing from the silicone covering on the probe surface. See pic. An extern took a “core” sample of this covering during an ultrasound guided injection teaching moment several years ago. I have deliberately used the 10L on the screen pics to show that this loss of silicone in no way affects the image quality. There is NOT a shadow or bright area as a result of this biopsy. It has always been used in the hospital and cleaned after each use, so I can easily say its in very good condition. I will have an Ultrasound technician remove all of my hospital information and images, so it will be a clean start for you. Setting up and getting going is very easy and intuitive with this machine. Literally plug and play. I have looked into shipping costs briefly. We are willing to pack, crate, pallet and lift the machine onto the shipment truck for no additional cost. We have a fork lift and the original pallet and my husband owes me a favor. For a shipping cost example, I did a simple longest possible distance calculation of Locke NY 13092 to San Diego CA at the above dimensions and weight of 395 Lb with a 4 day transit time with UPS and insurance and the cost was between $600-700.00. When I bought it the shipping came to about $500 so that seems about right with today's shipping prices. I am sure there are plenty of other options for shipping out there. If you have any questions, be sure to contact me.
