This work provides information on the history of gears, their production, gear finishing operations, general machining operations, control gearing inaccuracies, cutters, jigs, gages, material treatment, gearing research and technical data. It is illustrated well. This item is in good overall condition and would be a useful resource for the owner of the engine or aviation mechanic.
