FOR SALE IS 1Vintage circa 1940-1950’s "Flat Heavy Top" GEM G-Bar. Silver color solid metal, knurled handle, flare at tip. Grooved thumb tab on flip open head. Uses single-edge blade. Marked, “Made in USA” and GEM RAZOR” inside. Marked, “G” in circle sides of handle – the (G-bar). Very GOOD condition, strong spring, mild rubs on top. Unlike a twist-to-open razor, the flip open head G-bar uses a spring to hold the flap down, securing the blade, and the flap is opened with the thumb. The handle has a flare or slanting knob at the end, designed perfectly for grip.
