Offered is a quality General Radio Variac that is mounted in a heavy gauge Panel box that has a hinged cover. To test the Variac's operation I used a lead light to dim the bulb via the rotating dial on the front from low light to bright light, it works smoothly. I also tested with a large 1/2" drill, it will adjust the speed of the motor. The panel box has several coats of paint, there is an on/ off toggle switch on the side, the bottom has 2 pig tail leads, one with a male 115v input and one female Variac controlled output plug. It has a bus bar type set-up inside with many line and load connections so several lines can be run to or from this panel set-up. There is also some type of "inverter? looking" device with cooling fins mounted above the variac's heavy copper coil. This unit is approx. 12" tall, 5 1/2" front to back by 10 1/4" wide. It is quite heavy for it's size, I think this is an industrial grade device, hopefully someone can put it to good use!.............
