GEODESICS INC. 55 FOOT DIAMETER GEODESIC RIGID RADOME.  HEIGHT IS 37 FEET NOT COUNTING THE FOUNDATION.  WEIGHT IS APPROX. 20,000 POUNDS. IT CONTAINS 275 PANELS AND 86 HUBS. I INCLUDED PICTURES OF ONE OF THE PANELS TO SHOW HOW HEAVY DUTY THIS UNIT IS. THIS DOME WAS PURCHASED BY GENERAL ELECTRIC AND BUILT IN 1987 TO TEST EXPERIMENTAL RADAR. IT WAS DISASSEMBLED IN 1988 AND SOLD AND HAS BEEN IN STORAGE EVER SINCE. IT IS DESIGNED TO TAKE WINDS UP TO 150 MPH. ACCORDING TO THE SPECS IT WILL TAKE ABOUT 300 MAN HOURS TO ERECT. COMES WITH ASSEMBLY MANUAL, SPEC SHEETS, ALL PANELS AND HUBS AND BOLTS AND WASHERS.  YOU WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE FOUNDATION, GASKET MATERIAL AND CAULK. EXTERIOR SURFACE OF EACH PANEL SHOULD BE PAINTED BEFORE ASSEMBLY.  SHIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE BUT CAN BE DISCUSSED FROM LOADING YOUR TRUCKS TO A FULL DELIVERY.
