The 5” instrument is suitable for general construction work, while the 2” instrument is for precise measurement tasks. With the optional reflectorless technology, distances can be measured to any surface within 250 m. With a complete range of on-board applications, all types of measurement tasks can be completed easily. The Geomax ZT20 Total Station features onboard survey applications and integrates with data collectors for on the spot calculations. This compact and durable optical instrument has a laser plummet, reflectorless technology and absolute encoder for consistently accurate angular and distance measurements. High Precision The ZT20 total station allows surveyors to read distances up to 820 feet in reflectorless mode and up to 9, 843 feet using a single prism. It has an absolute encoder that enables the device to resume operation on its last position even when it is shut off. This field surveying instrument also features dual-axis compensation for perfect leveling and a laser plummet for easy setup. WinCE Platform and Data Transfer Using a custom Windows CE operating system, this Geomax total station has a stable performance and easy to use interface with powerful COGO applications for calculating measurements. The ZT 20 has 64 MB of memory for storing field data and a USB port for transferring files to a computer or data collector. Temperature Sensor and Long Battery Life With built-in multiple temperature sensors, this total station has real-time temperature correction to ensure the quality of measurement results. It also boasts an environmental rating of IP-54 for dust and water protection. The large and bright dual LCD screen and alphanumeric keyboard enable construction professionals to easily input data and view lines and points easily. Its rechargeable Li-Ion battery also provides up to 9 hours of operation.
