My customer purchased this machine new for a project he was working on a few years ago and has rarely used it since. I am listing it here for him. A new one is over $7,500 and used ones have been going on here for $3,600 to $5,800. I am listing this one for $4,500 with the stand/cart shipped to your door. Here is the description and some specs from the Georg Fischer website: RA type machines are used for cutting of pipes. They are small, portable and easy to use. A pipe is clamped in the self-centering vice, which prevents its deformation. It is equipped with a speed-regulating device to adapt to the type of material and with a mechanism adapting the machine to the pipe diameter. The cutter is rotated by hand once around the pipe, as a result of which electric saw blade cuts the pipe or bevels its edge. This is a method of planetary cutting introduced by Georg Fischer Company. It combines advantages of different types of working: multipoint attachment, quick adjusting to pipe size control and stabilization of machine’s rotational speed optimal contact of cutter with material only in one spot processing of internal and external part of a pipe quick exchange of a cutter Planetary cutting is a type of cutting that saves time and costs: Perpendicular, flat and without burrs cutting Pipes can be joined without any additional works.
