GermFree Laboratories Benchtop Bioflow Chamber. Model: BBF-3SS-RX (Class II, Type A). This is typically used as pharmacy mixing hood due to the additional interior height. It is also referred to as a Laminar Flow Biological Safety Cabinet. This hood is in really nice condition. It has been stored for at least 6 years. All stainless steel so it never looks abused like painted units. The hood measures 36 inches across and 27 inches deep (add 4" for the external fluorescent light) by 57 inches tall. The stand is 38" high. This hood can be used on a solid benchtop if the stand is not needed since the bottom is completely smooth without any protrusions such as screw heads or rivets. Manufactured by Germfree Laboratories in Miami, Florida, now Ormond Beach, FL. 115VAC, 60 Hz. The filter looks to be in great condition with signs of very little use. However, like all equipment of this type it should be inspected, tested or changed depending on application.
