This item consists of a gilson valvemate with Hamilton 86918 valve and power cord. Item is tested and found fully functional. This unit can be used as a column switcher or as a fraction collector or any other application in which a solvent stream needs to be switched. Switching can be performed manually with the buttons on the front or by computer control. Liquid enters through the center hole and then exits through one of the 8 ports on the side, depending on which port is selected on the display.
