Glas-Col 100B TM570 Round Resin Reaction Heating Mantle Up for auction is a used Glas-Col 100B TM570 Round Resin Reaction Heating Mantle. This item is in good cosmetic condition with some scuffing, scratching, and discoloration on the exterior from general use. The glass fabric lining the interior wall of the mantle is in good shape, just a little dirty. This mantle does not include the original power cord. Please see the photos below for more details. We wired this mantle using a spare power cord and alligator clips to test it's ability to heat. The mantle powered on without issues and continued to rise in temperature. After a few minutes, we tested the surface temperature inside the mantle with an infrared thermometer. The mantle surface temperature ranged between approximately 330-390° C depending on the location tested. We have not tested this device with a power control unit. We believe this unit is in fully working condition, but can not guarantee it's condition is any other than as described.
