Glass Type 5980 Geiger Mueller Tube This 5980 geiger mueller tube is from a different manufacturer and is a slightly different style. It is glass and metal construction but has the electrical performance and specs as our other 5980 gm tube we sell. This tube is 4" long x 0.36" in diameter. The end cap is the anode (+) and the metal band around the center is the cathode (-). Made in the USA for the Navy. These may have scratches or smudged labels, however they are all tested for proper operation before being shipped. This GM tube can be used in many different geiger counter circuits for beta and gamma ray detection. THIS IS NOT A TOY-THESE ARE INDUSTRIAL ITEMS ALL COMPONENTS ARE PRETESTED  SORRY BUT THERE WILL BE  NO RETURNS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ON THIS ITEM
