General The processor contains 4 major sections: Developer, fixer, wash, and dryer. Each section performs a basic function to change the exposed film into a fully developed and dry film, ready for handling. The operation of the processor is handled by the control box. The film material is fed inlo the machine from the teed-table. If the machine is equipped with a daylight cassette both film sheets and film rolls from PTS/lmagesetting-cassettes can be processed. The processor is also equipped with a daylight slo and a rewash slot which make it possible to use the processor outside the darkroom when installed as a "Through-the-wall" installation. At the processor entrance the transport roller system takes over and leads the film safely through each of the four sections at a uniform speed and special guides make sure that it passes smoothly from one section to another.
