Glynn-Johnson Hold-Open Medium Duty Surface Mounted Overhead Door Holder. It is Finished in Dark Bronze, Oil Rubbed. The Glynn-Johnson 450 Series Stop-Only Medium Duty Door Holder is for Single Acting Doors, Specially the Interior of the Door.The Best door control is the one that operates overhead, with an arm functioning from the jamb to the top of the door. When the door stopping hold-open does not exceed 110°, this door holder is by far the most efficient. The overhead holder and stop is ut of the way, in contrast with floor or wall-mounted stops, which can be a stumbling hazard and are vulnerable to damage by accident and vandalism. Glynn-Johnson overhead holders and tops should always be used on doors furnished with door closers, as closers are not door stops and should not be expected to perform that function. Glynn_Johnson overhead stops are designed to protect door closers from violent openings. Included is the actual door holder, an instructions manual, all of the hardware (Screws, bolts, etc.), and the original box.
