Nice homemade hay feeders for goats, mini horses, sheep and other small animals. We build these from our farm with rough sawn lumber cut from the woods of New Hampshire and Massachusetts, along with some re-purposed wood from cribs rails. We don't use any pressure-treated wood or anything with nasty lead paint, mostly pine, maple ash or oak. Works really well for reducing waste hay because it has a catch tray on the bottom. Top opens on one side to load in fresh hay. These feeders hold about 3/4 to 1 standard square bale of hay. Our Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats love these feeders and we have cut down our wasted hay by 3-4 bales a week. The typical size is roughly 4 feet long, but never exact dimensions because these are custom made individually. Nice cream-colored corrugated roofing makes a nice roof for the hay feeder. to keep the hay nice and dry. These are a nice option to feeders sold by TSC or other farm supply companies because they match nicely with most farm and barn decor. If you have any questions of need a special size we can build to suit your needs in most cases. These items are pickup only. Large 4' model is priced at $300.00 Smaller ones are $200-$250 each. Package deals may apply.
