A goat milking system for the individual who wants an alternative to hand milking. This milker is lightweight, quiet, easy to clean, and operates on the push of a button. (No hand or foot pumps to operate. Compact design means less tubing to clean or get tangled.) When used properly, the opportunity for flies, dust, and other debris to contaminate your milk is reduced. The stainless steel milk can holds 2 gallons of milk. (No glass jars to juggle or break.) The system also includes tubing approved for food and beverage (NSF-51), two teat shells and two clamps. The DC powered vacuum pump runs off a 12 volt battery. The pump unit includes a durable plastic housing, the pump, a vacuum relief valve (brass fitting to adjust and limit vacuum), vacuum gauge, on/off toggle switch) , vacuum tubing, power cord with alligator clips, and vacuum canister/moisture trap. The battery is not included. Detailed instructions and a parts list are included. Milk goats should be gentle, accustomed to hand milking, and have normal teats. A goat producing 2 quarts will generally milk out in 3 minutes. A 12 amp battery will allow user to milk 2 goats twice a day for several weeks before recharging is necessary.
