Much more than a kidd could. The flow of milk depends mostly on the goat and how much she has milked in the past. The more you milk them with high vacuum the more her teat will open itself up. My wife and I own over 20 goats and we use this milker all the time. We first wash the teats with vinegar and water then put the tube up on the teat and begin to pump the vacuum pump. Hold the tube on the teat untill you get a seal then pump several times and the milk will start to flo, every few sevonds give it a few more pumps, that's all you need to do. I personaly manufacture the milkers myself to my likeing. I install "O" rings on the outside of the bottle connectors and use a very strong construction adheasive on the inside of the connectors, thus giving a tight seal.
