Good Antique Vintage Hit & Miss Engine Bearing Babbitt Babbit Metal 8.75 lb Selling With No Reserve! Hi! I have for Auction here a nice lot of Babbitt Metal that is used to make bearing in older engines like Hit & Miss etc. There are 2 pieces that haven't been used off of. They are United American Metals Corp. Chicago, ILL. The one says Syracuse Solder and the other one says Syracuse Block Tin. There is 8-3/4 lbs of it in this lot. See picture. Get yourself a great deal here. Local pick-up is always welcome, but I require cash payment or there will be a $25 fee or 10%, whichever is greater!
